It's up to Government to ensure science prevails over voodoo, plain and simple.

That seems like a bad… I mean… just… You have looked at exploits Government at any point in history, right?

There has to be a better way to convince people that basil doesn't cure cancer than that.

@Changes: I certainly hope he doesn't believe it, because the concept that someone believes this bollocks is a lot scarier than someone simply out to scam peoples money. (either way he's murdering people, but one could argue being misguided isn't evil the way trading peoples lives for money is).

Itsacon: inject him with HIV and he'll secretly get antiretroviral drugs for himself while keeping up his charade for the rest of the world. You don't really think he actually believes in what he says, right?

On the subject of stabbing: Inject him with HIV positive blood and see how quickly he'll change his mind on the whole medication bit...

If his vitamins cure AIDS, surely he won't be mad at the person who infects him, right?

But this really is pretty much up the same creek as the common teachings of the always popular catholic church.

I'm wondering how come nobody's yet shot, stabbed, strangled or shivved this guy in the back. There must be HIV-positive people who harbor a deep (and justified) hatred for the guy and don't have much to lose, yet there seem to have been no attempted assassinations.

Other than that, the article is quite seriously frightening. Who knows how many people Rath has killed already...

The lack of objectivity in the alternative medicine movement is due ot the fact that the whole thing is based on the idea of keeping an open mind, i.e. believe anything anyone says about anything, it's all good brotha. The minute they turned their minds to critical introspection, the whole thing completely unravel like a cheap suit caught on a nail. It's up to Government to ensure science prevails over voodoo, plain and simple. Too bad if you're born in a country run by inept imbeciles...

Who could possibly read that and not have their thoughts lean toward good old-fashioned vigilante justice via a syringe full of high viral load HIV infected fluid? Or would that be poetic justice?
