Well. they are cute. Does playing like these games on your computer requires a high pc card? I already am playing dog games and love game.

I've just achieved a population of 570 - although I can't do anything else because I've run out of stone (and everything that uses stone is sold, apart from residences). My computer really isn't liking it any more (100% CPU usage on one core).

Fun game. Maybe I'm just dense, but I didn't figure out you needed to use rock collectors to break the tower. I kept making more warriors only to see not that much action. Of course that meant by the time I *did* figure it out I had enough guys to make it a cakewalk.

I just tried running this on my Intel Mac in Firefox 3 and it was obscenely slow. It kept making weird noises up to a few minutes after I closed it!

I then found his main web page and tried his "Infinite Mario Brothers" thing and it doesn't work either. I guess the java VM on the mac doesn't like his games. (It's still making screeching noises right now, arg.)

I might have to give that one a try. It's funny, I've still got a copy of The Settlers (bought it 2nd hand in the late 90s), and played a game just last weekend! It works quite well under WinXP on a 22" widescreen, although it doesn't *quite* run at 'native' resolution... :-) There's also a glitch with one of the sound effects being horribly distorted, but other than that, it works like a charm, and still provides the same great gameplay experience.
