Behold: The SwashBot! (via)
It’s based around swashplate-type linkages, and it’s another fine CrabFu product (previously). It’s not as steam-y or track-y as CrabFu’s usual products, and it’s also not yet mentioned on the CrabFu site.
That cat’s clearly dealt with things a lot scarier than this.

This thing is absolutely fascinating. The buzz from the moving servos and the ability to move in a twitchy manner really gives it an ‘alive’ vibe. The only thing I’d try to change is maybe figuring out a way to propel it forwards a bit faster.

Wow! That’s pretty cool for being made out of spare bits, and just the slightest bit creepy… It’s the red eyes that sell it.
