Actually, the extras it comes with are better than usual - you get batteries <b>and</b> a charger, which have got to be a $20 value even if they're crappy. So it could be quite a good deal, provided its resolution and frame rate specs are up to modern expectations. Aldi's Electronics Of The Week deals usually are pretty decent value. Personally, though, I prefer the little bouncy castles they sell about three times a year :-). Assuming it’s a 640 x 480 25+fps model, the Aldi one’s probably only slightly overpriced :-).

Still pictures are different story and produce spectacular shots, but you do need a way of triggering the camera.
